Blogging: Kanye West Premieres “New Slaves” In Chicago

It was one of the craziest moments I have ever been a part of; seeing hundreds of people lining six corners looking in all directions waiting to see a three minute video of a song they’ve never heard. Then, hearing the shrieks and screams after seeing a blacked out U-Haul van pull up to the location, then seeing a bunch of people roll out with a projector, speakers, and begin playing the visual and new track for one of the most poloarizing figures in hip-hop history. I don’t know anyone who could drop random locations and times in 66 spots around the globe and draw the kind of crowd and buzz that I witnessed last night. It was a truly humbling experience being a part of something bigger than me. It was larger than life. It was KANYE WEST.

Ye 6 Corners
