A few days ago at the Supra Launch party, Lil Wayne dropped a hint that there may be a new Big Tymers project in the works. Yesterday, Lil Wayne and Birdman opened their doors to MTV’s RapFix Live hosted by hip-hop journalist, Rob Markman where they announced that they will be releasing a new Big Tymers album. The kicker? No Mannie Fresh. Instead, it will be Weezy, Birdman, and DRAKE.
When Birdman was asked if Mannie Fresh would be involved in the project he responded by saying, “No. Nah. Not at all.”
This raises a couple of questions for me: How can it be a BIG TYMERS album when only half of the group is represented? Would you buy a Big Tymers record without Mannie Fresh on it? CAN IT EVEN BE CONSIDERED A BIG TYMERS ALBUM?
