It’s on the way!

College Greenlight’s wildly popular Scholarship Marathon is coming up and this year, Cappex is joining in on the fun. On March 22nd, beginning at 9am until 9pm, Cappex will be co-hosting the 2014 Scholarship Marathon with College Greenlight. So mark your calendars, and get ready to kick start this year’s scholarship search in style.

For those of you who haven’t heard about the Scholarship Marathon, here’s what you need to know:

Students

The Scholarship Marathon is a free virtual event that runs all day at Cappex.com. It starts at 9am, and it is a chance for students from all over the country to win raffles, prizes, and money for college just for applying to scholarships!

How it works: on February 19th, registration will open on Cappex.com. You’ll fill out some simple info, and if you don’t already have a Cappex profile you can complete one with your registration. Then on the 22nd you can join us online anytime from 9am to 9pm to upload proof of your completed scholarship applications, enter raffles and giveaways, get one-on-one scholarship help from our team, and even win a $1,000 scholarship from us just for participating!

Counselors

The Scholarship Marathon is a free way for you to get your students applying for scholarships! Last year dozens of our partners including SEO Scholars, College Possible, College Forward, and Chicago Scholars had students participate in droves. You can encourage your students to register online starting February 19th at Cappex.com.

    It’s like a marathon, but a race to see who applies to the most scholarships within each hour. They choose a winner every hour and offer gift cards, cash prizes, and at the end of the day grand winner who has emailed them the most confirmations of completing scholarships win a Green Light college scholarship; it about $1,000. You can apply to any type of scholarship and to as many you want!!!! I founded it very interactive the last time I done it; and I even won two $25 amazon gift cards just in the first two hours. I would have done it for the rest of the day, but I was busy that day. If you enjoy applying to random scholarships for fun and watch some informative workshops, then this would be a great event to participate in!
