Jordhan Woods is a copywriter and copy-editor living in San Diego, CA.

She is a DePaul University graduate with a Bachelor of the Arts in Writing, Rhetoric, and Discourse and a Point Loma Nazarene University graduate with a Master of Arts in Technical Writing and Digital Rhetoric.

She is originally from southern California where she worked as a blogger and social media manager in radio while obtaining an Associates of Arts in Radio, TV, and Film from San Diego City College. In 2011, Jordhan moved to Chicago to complete her undergraduate education and to continue pursuing her career in writing, social media and eventually, content management. She moved back to San Diego in 2016 to continue working in content marketing and attend graduate school.

Jordhan has an immense passion and appreciation for long-form journalism, culture & arts, and digital media. Her progressive thinking, innovative writing style, and multi-faceted skill set have allowed Jordhan to assist in elevating the arts and entertainment scene in San Diego and Chicago with many talented individuals.

Currently, Jordhan is a copywriter for UrbanStems, a seamless, one-of-a-kind flower delivery service that is helping to make anyone’s day from coast to coast. In this role,  I am working in tandem with the CRM team and Content Director to create engaging copy for email and SMS campaigns, landing page copy for brand collaborations, product descriptions for bouquets, plants, and add-ons, and evergreen content. Finally, I am writing, editing, and publishing blog content for their blog, The Perennial.

Most recently, Jordhan was a digital content associate for ReserveBar, an online luxury spirit and wine store that specializes in rare bottles, gift sets, and fine drinkware. In this position, she wrote content for their blog, Cocktail Lounge, social copy for their 3 brands (ReserveBar, MiniBar, and Get Stocked), managed content and placements in tandem with brand partnerships, and coordinated their virtual tasting events.

Previously, Jordhan was a social media marketing consultant for small businesses and the content manager for The Clearity Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to facilitating research for ovarian cancer. Prior to that, she was a content marketing analyst for Enova International, Inc. where she developed, pitched, wrote, and managed copy and content for nine brands throughout the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia.

Jordhan is currently looking for new opportunities in copywriting, content writing, or digital content as an associate or producer.
